Special Needs Under Five Support Sponsored Walk Winter Hill

North West Design Studios and Special Needs Under Fives Support Celebrate Successful Sponsored Walk

North West Design Studios, in partnership with Special Needs Under Fives Support (SNUFS), proudly announces the successful completion of their 21.6km sponsored walk from Blackrod to Bromley Cross on August 4th. This event aimed to raise £5,000 to support SNUFS. A local charity dedicated to promoting the inclusion of children aged 2-5 with special educational needs or disabilities into mainstream preschool settings.

The walk saw enthusiastic participation from NWDS employees and SNUFS volunteers, all united by the common goal of raising awareness and funds for this essential cause. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, the event exceeded expectations, raising an impressive £5,285—surpassing their original target.

Heartfelt Thanks from Special Needs Under Fives Support Coordinators and Trustees

Niki Wareing (Coordinator) said “A big thanks to all those who took part in the walk and those who were kind enough to sponsor us.

These much-needed funds will go towards helping to secure the future of our charity, ensuring Early Years special needs children across Bolton will continue to receive the volunteer support we provide”.

Paul Hilton (Trustee) said “A brilliant day was had by all, and thank you to all my team at North West Design Studios Ltd and everyone at Snufs, plus our friends and family for taking part. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who donated, because of your support we are getting very close to achieving our £5000.00 target. And finally, thanks to Margaret from Chill @ the Cowshed Horwich for the great send-off, and Alex at The Retreat Bromley Cross for a fantastic buffet and their hospitality when a very tired bunch of people arrived”.
